Sourcing & Selection

At Amoura Hair, we work closely with our trusted manufacturing partners to source premium-quality human hair. We prioritise ethical practices, purchasing hair directly from individuals who willingly sell their unprocessed hair and are paid fairly at or above market rates.

Each strand is carefully inspected to confirm cuticle alignment, purity and overall integrity. Only the highest-grade virgin hair that meets Amoura Hair’s strict quality criteria is selected for our luxury extensions.

 

Preparation, Processing & Production

After passing our initial quality checks, the hair moves through a controlled preparation process to guarantee consistency during colouring and finishing.

First, the hair is thoroughly cleansed, fumigated and sorted by length. It is then meticulously wefted or bundled to maintain perfect cuticle alignment from root to tip.

A gentle lifting stage removes natural pigments to create a clean base before our slow-release powdered colour technology is applied over several days. This gradual approach protects the hair’s condition, supports long-term colour vibrancy and minimises structural stress.

Once coloured, the hair is repeatedly drawn to achieve a full, healthy ratio of lengths within each bundle. Our production team then performs multiple rounds of testing before the hair is crafted into the final application methods, each designed with precision, durability and performance in mind.

 

Quality Control

Quality assurance is at the heart of every Amoura Hair product. At every stage—sourcing, processing and production—we carry out detailed inspections and rigorous testing. This includes repeated washing with harsh shampoos, friction assessments, microscopic analysis and more.

Every bundle is given its own batch number, allowing full traceability if any concerns ever arise.

Before leaving the factory, randomised inspections are carried out across a large percentage of finished stock, checking everything from colour and length to weight and application method.

When the hair reaches our warehouse, it undergoes one final verification stage to ensure accuracy in colour, length, weight and packaging. Our advanced tracking system allows us to monitor each packet within every batch, ensuring complete transparency, consistency and accountability from start to finish.
